Perioperative Critical Events in Obstetrics - September 10, 2016

Critical Events in Obstetrics will be a one-day CME course, which will offer didactic lectures in the morning combined with simulation-based learning in the afternoon. Not only will it focus on the clinical management of events unique to parturients, but will highlight the importance of multidisciplinary communication and teamwork. Evidenced-based, up to date recommendations on critical events will be presented. The afternoon session will consist of hands on experience using human patient simulators, including the CAE Lucina childbirth simulator.
