Learning Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, the participants should be able to:
1) Discuss the role of tobacco, alcohol, and illicit drug use in the development and rupture risk of intracranial aneurysms.
2) Describe the indications for conservative versus surgical/endovascular treatment of unruptured intracranial aneurysms.
3) Identify new techniques in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.
4) Identify the long-term effects of ruptured intracranial aneurysms/subarachnoid hemorrhage.
