6th Annual ISPCOP Symposium 2017: Perioperative Obesity, What’s New, What’s Next in 2017 - October 23, 2017

The focus of the symposium is to discuss predictors for the difficult airway and for the use of ultrasound for airway prediction. Likewise, ultrasound can be used for assessment of the filling status of the stomach in morbidly obese patients. Other topics are the use of supraglottic airways in adult morbidly obese patients and the dosing requirements for obese children undergoing general anesthesia.
