Scholars In Residence
Each year, the Liberal Studies program will present awards to honor outstanding achievement in interdisciplinary scholarship, teaching and service.
Recipients of the awards will join their colleages in the College of Arts and Sciences for a semester as scholars-in-residence at the University of Louisville.
During their stay, these distinguished guests will collaborate in teaching interdisciplinary courses, share their expertise with students and faculty, and give a public lecture open to the entire community. The award brings with it an honorarium of $50,000.
Thanks to the support of the C.E.&S. Foundation, the intellectual life of the College of Arts and Sciences will be enriched by the presence of twenty-four distinguised scholars-in-residence over the next five year
