BSN, Nursing

What is your hometown?

I'm originally from Bethesda, MD, but have lived in southern Indiana for the past 6 years.

What do you love most about your family?

I love that my family makes me laugh!

What made you want to serve your country?

I wanted to help soldiers who were fighting in an often-forgotten war.

What are you most proud of as a member of the service?

Deploying to Iraq and learning to adapt to difficult circumstances. 

Why do you want to be a lawyer?

I want to continue to learn new things and solve people's problems.

What do you like most about Brandeis?

I think the Professors and staff are great and really engage with students. 

In five years, I want to be...

working as a litigator.

How have you changed since you started law school?

I've become better at triaging deadlines and balancing responsibilities.

What would you tell a 1L about law school and/or life?

Law school is a challenge, but you can do it. There will be hard times but before you know it, you'll be over that hump.

How do you cope when times are challenging:

Spending time with my kids helps me to remember what is important.
