Snapshot

Ignite is a non-denominational faith-based (Christian) community headquartered just off campus in Cardinal Towne. Ignite started as a small group of students meeting in a downtown Louisville house, and has grown into a much larger community of 100+ students. Our mission is to help UofL students take their first and next steps with Jesus. We accomplish this through weekly discipleship groups, Tuesday night dinners, corporate worship, coffee and donuts, freshman dinners, and late night pancakes on Thursdays all at no cost to students.

By joining the Ignite Themed Community, you will be given the opportunity to take part in services projects focusing on housing insecure populations, bible study, and student-led weekly prayer. Each participant of the Ignite TC will be responsible for completing three (3) service hours per semester from the three (3) service projects that the community will provide. In addition, participants will gain a holistic understanding of housing insecurity that includes historical, scriptural, geographical, and statistical components.
