We offer advanced graduate degrees in P-12 educational leadership, including the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), the Education Specialist (Ed.S.), as well as Superintendent and Director of Special Education certification programs.
Our graduates assume educational leadership roles at the building-level, district-level, state-level, and faculty positions.
The Master's in Human Resources and Organization Development educates professionals who lead people, performance, development, and learning. In this program, you gain skills to lead human resources at both the strategic and tactical levels by facilitating discovery and critical inquiry at the individual, team, and organizational levels. In your courses you will explore cutting-edge concepts and design hands-on projects related to: Human Resource Management, Human Capital, and Organization Development.
The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning (OLL), is designed for working professionals who have at least five years of work experience. You can earn credit, tuition free, for prior workplace learning and experience, take accelerated courses online or in person, and enhance your skills in leadership, evaluation, project management, and training in the workplace.

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development encompasses five specialties: P-12 Administration, Post-secondary Administration, Sport Administration, Human Resource Development, and Evaluation. It prepares graduates to understand and perform basic and applied research in their specialty area.

Degree programs in our department host over 40% of UofL’s military student population. Our B.S. in OLL offers college credit for military training and experience, and our master’s programs in both Higher Education Administration and Human Resources and Organizational Development serve many military students. In addition to our thriving online programs, we offer courses in Louisville and specialized programs on-site at Fort Knox.
