Community Engagement
Addressing the needs and interests of our diverse communities locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.
Comprised of current UofL faculty and staff, the Speakers Bureau serves as one of the main community service programs provided by the University of Louisville. Throughout the year, hundreds of faculty and staff are scheduled to give presentations at area businesses, schools, churches, and civic organizations. Having a good speaker to talk about his or her area(s) of expertise can result in fresh ideas and renewed interest for your programs.
Many speakers provide their service at no charge; however, a few feel it necessary to require a fee due to extensive preparation. Two asterisks (**) indicate those speakers. The matter of expenses and other fees should be arranged directly with the speaker prior to acceptance of an engagement.
Browse speakers by name, audience, or category; or search.
If you are a current UofL faculty or staff member and would like to be added to the Speakers Bureau roster, please contact Susan Jenkins via email.
