Urban Renewal, Old Walnut Street and the 9th Street Divide,” will provide a look back at ill-advised policies of the 1960s and ‘70s that obliterated a once-vibrant center of black life in Louisville. This free program is presented by the LBA Diversity Committee.
Following the program, an awards ceremony will recognize Central High School essay contest winners and Dan Hall, this year’s recipient of the Justice William E. McAnulty Jr. Trailblazer Award.
