Life as a Muslim in Muhammad Ali's hometown

On 9 June, 2016, Ali Scholar Yomna Amer, a senior majoring in Biology with a minor in French, spoke to BBC news about what it means to be Muslim in Louisville, KY and what Muhammad Ali meant to her. She spoke about how Muhammad Ali raised awareness about Islam through his celebrity. She commented about how many people in the United States and worldwide were introduced to Islam through Muhammad Ali.
