Inauguration Watch Party

On January 20, 2021 the University of Louisville’s Cultural Center, Muhammad Ali Institute for Peace and Justice and Women’s Center collaborated to watch the Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President elect Kamala Harris. Faculty, Staff, and Students gathered via Zoom to watch safely from home the swearing in of our 46^th President and first Black and Asian American female, Vice President. Registration for this event also included a free celebration kit that consisted of snacks, noise makers, and a sweet treat bought locally from Maly’s Bakery .
