The Steering Committee will report directly to the Office of the President and will fulfill the following:

• Approve the Final Document that will be presented to the Board in July
• Coordinate the work of the four content area committees
• Deal with the "big" questions:
  • What is our "dream" – what big ideas might inspire us going forward; what are niches of excellence that we might pursue
  • How specifically will we respond to the key question posed by our board: How do we continue to move forward given rapidly changing circumstances?
  • How to we affirm key values, while embracing change that is good for us to make?
