The deadline for applications is December 1st.

All applicants will be considered without discrimination on the basis of differences in age, ethnic or racial background, gender, physical abilities, sexual orientation or preference, or social background. This program values diversity and has accepted applicants that vary on the above characteristics.

The top applicants (usually about 10-15) will be asked for in-person or telephone interviews. Typically, 6-8 applicants are accepted each year.

Applicants should follow procedures outlined by the Graduate School. Beyond the Graduate School requirements, the Department requires:

• the Aptitude Section (verbal, quantitative, analytical) of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
