Academic Program Approval & Review
At the University of Louisville, every educational program for which academic credit is awarded has been approved by the faculty and administration. Student learning outcomes have been established and are regularly evaluated. All proposals for new degree programs are reviewed and approved by the Provost Office, unit faculty/dean, and Faculty Senate before they are recommended to the Board of Trustees. The following links describe the university's program approval, program review, curriculum and consortial agreements processes and Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) guidelines.
