The American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) has created the "Compact Between Postdoctoral Appointees and Their Mentors." According to the AAMC, the document is "intended to initiate discussion at the local and national levels about the postdoctoral appointee-mentor relationship and the commitments necessary for a high quality postdoctoral training experience."
