What I like about our program: I like the breadth of experience provided by the program with exposure to diverse pathologies and training sites balanced with a well-rounded residency curriculum. The program provides a collegial environment with compassionate and knowledgeable residents, faculty, and staff. Its emphasis on both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology is unique and aligns with my interests. I am confident that I will emerge as a well-rounded and compassionate psychiatrist by the end of my training.

What I like about Louisville: Louisville is a midsize city with a small-town feel. It is a city bursting with arts, music, food, and drinks, which I look forward to exploring over the years. It is an affordable city with an accessible geographic location. Not too far from the city are lovely spots to experience the outdoors. Moving from a different country, I didn't know what to expect, but I can say that it surpassed all my expectations, and I'm excited to call this city my home!

Career Goal: I remain open-minded in my career goals but have a special interest in child and adolescent psychiatry, serious mental illness, and global mental health.
