Dr. Summers is a Louisville native. She completed medical school and psychiatry residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Her passion and focus is in reproductive psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine. She strives to assist patients of all ages coping with mental health concerns through continuum and diagnosis and treatment while maintaining quality of life for both patients and supports involved.

Dr. Summers received the S. Spafford Ackerly Award and the UofL Psychiatry Outpatient award during her residency.
