Class of 2024 Department of Pediatrics Incoming Residents Announced

Incoming residents come from seven states and three countries.

Louisville, KY – The University of Louisville (UofL) Department of Pediatrics is proud to announce its 2024 class of incoming residents. The medical students learned of their placements during their school’s Match Day ceremonies. That includes the returning students from the UofL School of Medicine whose Match Day took place in the Angels Envy Bourbon Room at L&N Stadium.

This year, the department welcomed residents from seven states and three countries, including welcoming back 11 UofL medical students. They come from Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania, as well as Grenada, West Indies, and Gharan, Nepal.

“We couldn’t be more excited for this incoming group of residents,” said Pediatric Residency Program Director Dr. Sara Multerer. “This class brings a diverse mix of future doctors from all regions of the U.S. and abroad. We look forward to helping them achieve their goals as they get settled in both at the UofL Department of Pediatrics and Norton Children’s where they will work with our faculty, fellows, and community partners to become the future of pediatric care.”
