Tell us about your family:
My mother stayed back home in the Philippines. I have a brother in Vegas and a sister in Australia. I am married to one of our own developmental pediatricians, Dr. Maria Mendoza.
Do you have pets?
Too many pets if you ask me. Lol. We have 6 dogs, 5 of which are Pomeranians.
What are you doing, where are you going, for your next vacation?
Maria and I started going to Shutterfest, a large photography conference last year. It’s held every year in April in St. Louis, MO.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Believe it or not, I’ve known I wanted to go into Peds Heme/Onc since 1st year high school.
What is one of your proudest accomplishments?
Receiving a grant from the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for my fellowship research.
What is your favorite quote?
Do or do not, there is no try.
What was your first job?
I was a pager operator for not even a month; it was a summer job in PreMed.
What is your favorite ice cream?
Plain ol’ vanilla. Nothing fancy for me.
