How long have you worked in Pediatrics? I joined UofL this July, I have been in pediatrics for 10 years
What is your favorite thing about your job? I enjoy teaching and using ultrasound to help aid in treatment and diagnosis at the bedside
What is your hometown? Beckley, WV (I’m a big WVU Mountaineers fan)
What is your favorite movie? I have a hard time re-watching movies except for 90’s comedy
Tell us about your family: I live with my wife Stephanie, two daughters Elaina and Hannah (4 yo and almost 2yo) and my mother-in-law Maria. My parents still live in WV, and I have one brother who lives in Virginia.
Do you have pets? (If yes, what kind? How many?) none
What are you doing, where are you going, for your next vacation? I have enjoyed exploring the beautiful outdoors of my new state with my family (Red River Gorge has been a favorite). As a bourbon enthusiast, I look forward to exploring the distilleries once it is safe. Once it is safe to travel abroad, the next big trip I want to go on is Japan.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Professional Soccer player
