How long have you worked in Pediatrics?   35 years

What is your favorite thing about your job? The variety, the people, the relationships built, helping and serving others and, I am never bored.

 

  1. Where is your hometown?  Louisville, KY

  2. What is your favorite movie?  Not sure I have a favorite; I prefer comedies overall
  3. Tell us about your family:  I have been married for 21 years to David Lichtefeld; we have two awesome, yet challenging, children, Logan (19) and Cheryl (17).
  4. Do you have pets?    Yes, Izzy, she is a Malti-Poo (half Maltese, half Poodle)
  5. What are you doing, where are you going, for your next vacation?  Smoky Mountains for R&R on Fall Break and Clearwater Beach for Christmas (the beach is my fav!)
  6. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?  I didn’t really think about it; I used to play teacher & set up a classroom in my house
  7. What is one of your proudest accomplishments? Raising two decent human beings first then, taking care of my mom & dad; they are 92 and 89 and I am convinced that their 7th ‘oops’ child was put on this earth to care for them in their time of need, and it is my honor to do so.
  8. What is your favorite quote?  I am not sure who said it or if I made it up but one thing I find myself saying is “the problem with life is, there is no background music to let you know what’s Keith family dog, Izzycoming”.
  9. What was your first job?  Babysitting the neighborhood children

10. What is your favorite ice cream? Anything Caramel.  I love it but I’m trying to quit!
