How long have you worked in Pediatrics?  11 years (if including residency and fellowship)

What is your favorite thing about your job?  I love the variability of my day, both with patients and other non-patient related activities as well as the wonderful people I work with, where good humor, tasty treats, and fun times can always be found.


What is your hometown? Stow, Ohio

What is your favorite movie?   For someone who prefers action movies, my favorite is actually a Hindi comedy movie called “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.”

Tell us about your family:   I live with my wife, Shilpa, and we have been married for 4 years.

Do you have pets? (If yes, what kind? How many?)   Not currently, but if you want to hear a hilarious story, ask me about my experience with fish.

What are you doing, where are you going, for your next vacation?  Not planned yet, but hopefully next will be somewhere in Europe.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?  Surprisingly, even then I wanted to be a doctor, and specifically a pediatrician.

What is one of your proudest accomplishments?  Completion of post-graduate trainings for Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics.

What was your first job?  Anyone who knows that I have always been a vegetarian would be surprised to know that my first job was actually at Burger King during 2 months of high school summer break.
