Welcome to the University of Louisville Division of Palliative Medicine!

Created in 2023 and under the direction of interim chief Dr. Jennifer Koch, the division brings a renewed focus on palliative medicine, which has long been an important clinical service that the department has provided to patients at University of Louisville Hospital.

In recent years palliative medicine has grown to include an inpatient service at UofL Health - Jewish Hospital and an outpatient clinic in the UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center.
