The Dean’s Staff Excellence Awards are designed to recognize the important contributions of our SOM staff to the achievement of our mission and to express appreciation for all of the seen and unseen work that assures we educate our students, serve our patients, engage with our communities, and contribute innovative research at an exceptional level of excellence.
Every staff member nominated received special recognition at the 2024 UofL SOM Dean’s Staff Excellence Awards Reception on December 3.

This award recognizes an individual who embodies the spirit of the University of Louisville, known as a "Cardinal," through the following qualities:

- Team Impact Award[$500.00 Award]
- The Team Impact Award at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is presented to a team or group demonstrating exceptional performance and achievement in advancing the mission of the School of Medicine. This prestigious award recognizes collective efforts that significantly contribute to the enhancement of medical education, innovative research, and outstanding patient care. Recipients of the Team Impact Award exemplify collaboration, dedication, and excellence, embodying the core values and goals of our institution.
