When you’re here, we want you to be present. And that doesn’t just mean in class. Our campus offers a range of activities and amenities designed to keep you engaged.
We offer more than 400 registered student organizations, including academic groups, faith-based organizations, social clubs and cultural organizations. Our Big Three — the Student Government Association, Student Activities Board and Engage, Lead, Serve Board — are charged with cultivating the campus experience for students. They offer daily activities, including cookouts, lectures and movies.

Recreation
UofL is home to a 128,000-square-foot Student Recreation Center, recognized as one of the best in the country. Head here for a workout, group classes, intramurals or club sports. More than 17,000 students use the center each year, and we offer more than 50 intramurals and club sports.

Exploring Your Campus(es)
Our three dynamic campuses throughout metro Louisville include the Belknap, Health Sciences and Shelby Campuses. Belknap, located at the edge of Old Louisville, boasts a beautiful park-like setting. Our Health Sciences campus is in the heart of downtown Louisville and provides cutting-edge facilities for our health-related degree seekers. And if you're ever on Shelby Campus, you'll enjoy a quiet, east-end location near the headquarters of some of the largest companies in the city.
