Professor Enid Trucios-Haynes presents at regional immigration conference
Brandeis School of Law Professor Enid Trucios-Haynes was a panelist at a conference focusing on the ways Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky are responding to the needs of immigrant communities.
Held July 16-18, 2018, at Xavier University, the conference was organized by the Center for Migration Studies.
Trucios-Haynes participated in the "Litigation & Other Strategies" panel, which focused on the use of litigation to address current immigration challenges and examined successful advocacy campaigns against anti0immigration legislation.
Trucios-Haynes, a national expert in immigration law, is also co-founder and co-director of the Brandeis Human Rights Advocacy Program and interim director of the Muhammad Ali Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of Louisville.
