The Praxis is a set of tests created for aspiring teachers to measure their skills necessary to be successful in the classroom. Passing scores for the PRAXIS Core exams are required for completion of undergraduate and graduate teacher education programs and more than 40 states to meet licensing and certification requirements for teaching. Test scores should be submitted to both the University of Louisville and the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board. Test scores are valid for five years.
