The State Personnel Development Grants (SPDG) program focuses on professional development needs. As part of Kentucky’s SPDG, funded through the Office of Special Education Programs and managed by the Kentucky Department of Education, Project LINK provides training and technical assistance to selected districts and schools. Project LINK provides individualized and intensive support through training and coaching to assist with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) development and implementation at both the district and school level. The project focuses on literacy, mathematics, and behavior core instruction and interventions for all students, intentionally including those with disabilities.

Project LINK currently serves East Valley Elementary School, Ezel Elementary School, Morgan Central Elementary School, and Wrigley Elementary School in Morgan County; North Hancock Elementary School and South Hancock Elementary School in Hancock County; and Breckinridge-Franklin Elementary School, Byck Elementary School, Minors Lane Elementary School, and Wheatley Elementary School in Jefferson County.
