Bio

My name is Lorita Rowlett. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in curriculum and instruction with a focus on individuals with complex needs at the University of Louisville. I am member of Project PURPLE which focuses on both rural and urban learning environments. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary education from the University of Louisville. I also obtained my master’s degree in Teacher Leadership and Autism from the University of Louisville. I was previously an educator for students with moderate to severe disabilities for 8 years.
