Katie Shanahan - Assessment Coordinator

Katie received her Bachelors degree in Computer Science from DePauw University and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Louisville (UofL). She recently completed a PhD in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development at UofL. Katie holds a leadership role in the unit's ongoing quality programs' implementation self-study and continuous improvement efforts that lead to program excellence. As director of the AAUE, she is responsible for leading faculty and staff in the continued implementation and refinement of the unit's assessment system that is designed to support data-driven decision-making in alignment with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Kentucky Professional Standards Board (EPSB) standards, guidelines and regulations.
