March Madness: A&S Student-Athletes Excel in the Classroom and on the Court
The College of Arts & Sciences is proud to recognize five standout student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence not only in their respective sports but also in the classroom.
According to Inside Higher Ed’s recent academic rankings of March Madness teams, these Cardinals are proving that success extends beyond the game, with University of Louisville ranking impressively in second place!
Chucky Hepburn (General Studies - online, dual concentration track with a minor in Marketing and a Certificate in Ethics), Kader Traore (Individualized Major in Consumer Affairs with a minor in Sociology), Khani Rooths(Pre-Business), Spencer Legg (Sociology), and Terrence Edwards (General Studies - online, dual concentration track with minors in Communication and Sociology) have balanced the rigorous demands of college athletics with their academic pursuits.
Their dedication to both their studies and their sports is a testament to their work ethic and commitment to excellence.
As representatives of UofL, these student-athletes embody the true spirit of Cardinal pride, proving that discipline, perseverance, and passion can lead to achievements in both academics and athletics.
