Guests:  Y-K. Chan (FA), W. Pfeffer

The minutes of the meeting of March 8, 2012, were approved as distributed.

The committee approved the proposal for the MFA in Studio Art and Design. 
There was discussion of the number of students (4) to be admitted yearly to the program in relation to the CPE expectation of program graduates.  It was noted that specific course proposals will be submitted after the program itself has been approved.

The following course actions were approved:

  • LBST 301:  Life Experience (delete)
  • MATH 501:  Intro to Analysis I (CUE designation)
  • MATH 521:  Modern Algebra I (CUE designation)
