Curriculum Committee Minutes

November 27, 2007

Members present: B. Bradley, J. Burnet, K. Chandler, P. Eason (Chair), C. Hanchette, N. Polzer, M. Rohmann, R. Taylor

Members absent: J. Wallin (A&S Student Council)

Guests: J. McLeod (HIST), L. Markowitz (ANTH), J. Peteet (ANTH)

The minutes of the meeting of November 13 were corrected to reflect that HUM 363, not HUM 353, had been approved as a special topics with WR credit.

The committee approved the proposal for the M.A. in Anthropology. Some revisions will need to be made to course syllabi before they can be forwarded to the Provost’s Office.

The minor in Asian Studies was approved, with suggestions for future consideration as the program develops.

The graduate certificate in Medieval and Renaissance Studies was approved.
