Complete your application.

Complete your Take Flight Application and pay the non-refundable application fee of $30.

Students on free and reduced lunch do not pay the application fee and receive a fee waiver.

4

Submit your official transcript.

The University of Louisville requires official transcripts, sent directly from the institution upon request by the applicant. Transcripts are sent separately from the application, by the institution. Please work with your high school counselor on how to submit your transcript.

View admissions requirements for specific programs.

After submitting your application, please log in to your UofL Application Gateway and view your Application Checklist to see which transcripts we have requested.

OPTIONAL: Submit test scores.

Submitting test scores, if you have them, is recommended and will not have any negative impact on admission or scholarships to UofL.

ACT and SAT scores are optional for students, and there are pathways for admission to all of our programs without the ACT or SAT. Learn more about our policy.

Test results may be submitted from the testing agency or appear on your official high school transcript.

If you plan to submit test scores:

  • ACT (American College Test)
  • SAT (Educational Testing Service)

The University of Louisville no longer requires the Science Reasoning section of the ACT for admission to any programs. We will consider the score if it is sent in as part of the composite. UofL will not recalculate a composite ACT score to remove the Science Reasoning section if a score report includes it. For more information or additional questions, please reach out to your admissions counselor.
