Below you will find multiple resources that can help you as you decide whether to seek medical assistance, report to the Title IX Office and/or report to law enforcement.
Confidential Campus Resources
These campus resources can provide support and guidance. Contacting a confidential resource is NOT considered an official report to the university.
PEACC Center
PEACC provides confidential help to students, staff and faculty affected by sexual misconduct, specifically in taking next steps such as medical care and evaluations, academic and housing accommodations, counseling and reporting.

Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides comprehensive counseling and mental health services to students. Services are provided by a licensed counselor and sessions are confidential and names are not released without your written permission.

Campus Health Services (CHS)
The CHS clinic is a primary care medical facility. They do not provide forensic sexual assault examinations. They can assist in accessing those services and with continuing care.

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides easy access to work/life support, confidential counseling and referral services to help deal with daily work and life challenges. Most services available to employees at no cost.

CHS Health Sciences Center Counselor
CHS provides confidential counseling at the HSC to any HSC-enrolled student. A licensed counselor provides complete initial evaluations and ongoing therapy for a variety of conditions, such as anxiety or depression.

Campus Health Services Psychiatric Services
CHS provides free confidential psychiatric services to any student enrolled at UofL, including psych evaluations, medication maintenance and referrals for hospitalization. Psychiatrists are by appointment only. Referral needed.

Brandeis School of Law Ackerson Law Clinic
In fall and spring, third-year law students supervised by a licensed attorney assist in filing protective orders for sexual misconduct survivors. Attorney-client relationship exists after confirming eligibility, availability, no conflict and retainer
Community Resources
In addition to campus resources, there are great resources in the city of Louisville. These services are available to UofL students as well.
UofL Hospital Emergency Room
Medical care provided from a certified sexual assault examiner. The exam is free, can include a police report and is not billed through insurance. The exam and police report do not require a decision to press charges.

Domestic Violence Intake Center
The center is open all day, every day and can help with emergency protective orders and criminal complaints. Victim's advocates help to determine protection needed, working with the courts and community resources.

The Center for Women and Families
The center offers services to all survivors of domestic and sexual violence, not just women and children. Crisis counselors available 24 hours a day, SANE Clinic across the street.
