Ophthalmology programs in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Louisville, one of the country’s pre-eminent eye research centers, offer doctors from around the world the opportunity to learn the latest medical and scientific innovations in eye care.

We offer a residency in general ophthalmology, as well as fellowships in Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina & Uveitis; and Oculofacial Plastic & Orbital Surgery. Medical students can also find a full list of ophthalmologic courses and lectures to aid in their growth and development in the field.
