  • About SravyaBorn in Illinois, brought up in Ohio, and now in Kentucky for fellowship. As a tennis player, one might find me with a tennis racket at nearby tennis courts. I enjoy watching sports especially tennis, basketball, and football. In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy watching various language movies together with my family. I plan to improve my culinary skills while I do my fellowship at UofL.

  • About Christina: I was born and raised in Guayaquil, largest city on the west coast of Ecuador. I moved to the U.S. four years ago and lived in New York City for residency and now Louisville! I like to watch movies/Broadway shows, outdoor activities and sports. I like to cook, eat and travel!

  • About Matthew: I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and spent the last several years in Des Moines, IA. I got married in medical school to my lovely wife who is also a family practice doctor, and we try our best not to be nerdy. I am a big Chicago spots fan including the Cubs and Bears! I am very excited to join a soccer league in Louisville.

If I'm not working then you can find me spending time with my wife, dog, or video games. I love ICU and look forward to teaching the residents during my time at UofL.

  • About Belissa: I was born and raised in Puerto Rico but I have grown up in so many places. I did Medical School in the Dominican Republic, moved to Florida for residency, and am now in Kentucky for the best fellowship in the world, pulmonary and critical care. I consider myself a very calm person with a lot of energy if that makes sense.

  • About Zach: Born and raised in a rural town in southern Ohio. Completed most of my training in Columbus, OH and then moved to Louisville, KY for fellowship. I am enjoying the friendly atmosphere and rich history of Louisville. I moved here with my fiancée as well as our dog and cat. In our free time we love to travel and check out local restaurants.

  • About James: Originally from eastern Kentucky, I moved to Louisville for medical school and married my wife. Since then, I have stayed here for residency and fellowship. My wife and I have three beautiful daughters and we enjoy taking them to the zoo, local farms, parks, and teaching them how to swim.

  • About Robert: I am originally from the Greater St. Louis area and completed college and medical school in St. Louis. Then I moved to Salt Lake City for residency and moved back to the Midwest to Milwaukee to work for a year as an academic hospitalist. I am excited to return to training in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Louisville. I am a big St. Louis sports fan with the Cardinals and Blues.

  • About Trisha: I was raised in a small town in South Carolina. I remained in South Carolina for medical school, moved to Florida for residency and here I am in Kentucky for fellowship. When I'm not at work you can find me hanging out with my dog, Kirby. I love to travel, I plan to go on at least one big trip a year for the rest of my life. My last trip was to Japan, highly recommend.

  • About Emilee: I was raised in rural Southern Indiana on a small farm with seven siblings. My mother was a nurse and I began considering medicine at a very young age. I am so thankful for the wonderful people that have guided my journey. Being a doctor has been the most amazing and fulfilling experience.
  • Hobbies: I love gardening, hiking, sports and travel. I'm an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoy seeing and experiencing new places.
  • Favorite Restaurants in Louisville:Texas Roadhouse
  • Research interests: I am especially interested in sleep disorders among children with neuromuscular diseases.  This high risk population has some established concerns about sleep and sleep disorders and I hope to help improve awareness among providers to improve treatment and quality of life in these children.
