UofL researcher receives NIH grant to find ways to reduce effects of high-fat diet on the liver

UofL researcher and BCC member Zhong-bin Deng has received a new 5-year, $2 million grant from the NIH to continue his investigations on how a high-fat diet can contribute to the fat which builds up in the liver with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
