Two staffers celebrate 15 years at U of L
"We are so glad to have such a tremendous team now in place," said Dr. Gary Gregg, director of the McConnell Center. "Tina's and Aaron's fifteen years of experience on campus has proved essential to the great success we have enjoyed since they joined the team."
Talley and Vowels are both administrative assistants for the McConnell Center.
Talley joined U of L in January 1995 as an recruitment assistant at the career center. In 2000, she helped coordinate student employment for campus, and in 2003, she assisted the university's judicial officer. In 2006, she served as the assistant to the director of student activities before joining the McConnell Center in 2008.
Vowels joined UofL in June 1995, performing data entry at the physical plant. He then spent eight years as a program assistant at the business school and three years at the standardized patient program at the office of medical education. He returned to Belknap Campus in 2006 as a program assistant at the music school before joining the McConnell Center in 2010.
Vowels is currently pursuing a master's in applied geography at U of L.
