Kolyaskina earns Library of Congress internship
Dasha Kolyaskina (’20), of Lexington, has been named a junior fellow at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. She is the fifth McConnell Scholar to be chosen for the position, previously held by Victoria Allen (’16), Alicia Humphrey (17’), Diana Lalata (’17’) and Robert Gassman (’18).
Kolyaskina will work in the Hispanic Legal Documents Collection at the Law Library, translating and collecting metadata from the 15th to 19th century in Spain. She will work principally with documents written in Spanish.
Kolyaskina is a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. She is a majoring in political science and finance at the University of Louisville.
