Glover prepares for first tour of duty overseas

Glover received his Captain's ranking Oct. 19 at the Fort Campbell Army base. His unit will be deployed to Afghanistan in February; it will be his first combat mission and first tour of duty overseas.
Glover has been part of the 101st Airborne Division for the past three years.
"The McConnell Center has supplied several officers and enlisted men and women to the United States Armed Forces," said Dr. Gary Gregg, director of the McConnell Center. "We are so proud of their service, and we know that Jordan's recent promotion to Captain is well deserved and that he will make a significant contribution to America's war efforts in Afghanistan. Our thoughts and appreciation are with him and his men and women.
