Ball ('17) attends Coca-Cola leadership summit
Freshman McConnell Scholar Jeremy Ball ('17) has recently returned from Atlanta, Ga., following a leadership summit with 25 classes of Coca-Cola Scholars.
“It was an amazing experience. Not only was I able to network with some of the most powerful individuals from across the nation, but I was given the opportunity to solidify relationships with friends that will last a lifetime.”
Ball earned the Coca-Cola Scholar distinction as a high school senior for his strong commitment to academics, leadership and service. The 25-year-old program has awarded more than $51 million in college financial assistance to more than 5,000 students.
Ball, a native of Manchester, Ky, is pursuing majors in American Sign Language and political science, as well as a minor in economics.
