Davis pursues master's degree in New Zealand
Hunter Davis, a 2011 graduate of the McConnell Scholars Program at the University of Louisville, is pursuing a master's degree in international studies at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. The opportunity is funded by a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship.
Davis was originally awarded a scholarship to study in Christchurch, New Zealand, but had to pursue alternative opportunities following a 6.3-magnitude earthquake in Christchurch last year.
As a Rotary Ambassador, Davis will work with work with local Rotary groups to learn more about New Zealand culture and politics. Upon his return to the U.S., he will share his experience and cultural impressions with Rotary clubs in Kentucky.
