Individualized Major Title:  Globalized Health

Accomplishments:  I've been accepted into the Master of Public Health program at NYU School of Global Public Health with a $16,000 scholarship. During the Spring 2022 semester, I completed an internship with Kentucky Refugee Ministries as a Medical Casework Intern.

How has your Individualized Major through the Liberal Studies Program prepared you for the next stage(s) of your life? 

The individualized major program has helped prepare me for these next chapters in life by allowing me to explore whole-heartedly all the areas of concentrations that I have been interested in and that allowed me to become knowledgeable in so many areas that interconnect and apply to Global Health. This would have not been so possible with a traditional degree/program, so I am grateful for the opportunity to take control of my higher education and curate a program that was a perfect fit specifically for me.
