Three Brandeis Law alumni honored by Louisville Bar Association
Three graduates of the Brandeis School of Law were honored by the Louisville Bar Association at its annual awards luncheon Dec. 1, 2017.
Charles J. (Mike) Cronan IV, a 1970 graduate of the Brandeis School of Law, was presented with the 2017 Judge Benjamin F. Shobe Civility & Professionalism Award, which recognizes an attorney who demonstrates the highest standards of civility, honesty and courtesy when dealing with clients, opposing parties and counsel, the courts and the public. The award also recognizes excellence through leadership in the legal profession.
Cronan is a senior member of Stites & Harrison, PLLC. His practice focuses on civil litigation, with emphasis on business and complex litigation, health care law and alternative dispute resolution.
Jonathan D. Miller was awarded the Paul G. Tobin Pro Bono Service Award. Miller is a 2008 graduate of the Brandeis School of Law.
Loren T. Prizant, chair of the LBA's Public Service Committee, was presented with the Committee of the Year Award. Prizant, a 2004 graduate of the Brandeis School of Law, is a director at Middleton Reutlinger and a member of the firm's business litigation practice group and health care law practice group.
