Robin Harris, public services librarian and professor of legal bibliography at Brandeis Law, has been named Outstanding Academic Librarian by the Academic Library Section of the Kentucky Library Association.

She will accept the award at the KLA's annual conference Sept. 21-24 in Louisville.

"I feel very humbled," Harris said. "When I look at the list of other people who have won the award, I feel honored to be among that group."

Harris has worked in academic libraries for more than 25 years and held positions as instructional services librarian at Jefferson Community College, College of Business library liaison at UofL and reference librarian at UofL’s Ekstrom Library.

As the public services librarian at Brandeis Law, she oversees circulation, reference, and reserve; handles scheduling and library hours; supervises the student workers and conducts library classes and tours.
