Professor Grace Giesel appointed to Kentucky Supreme Court committee

Louisville Law's Grace Giesel, Bernard Flexner Professor and Distinguished Teaching Professor, has been appointed to work on the Kentucky Supreme Court's Jefferson County Business Court Docket Pilot Project.

The project will explore the creation of a docket dedicated to complex commercial litigation cases. Giesel is the advisor and recorder of the Advisory Committee overseeing the project's implementation.

"I think this is a great move forward for the Jefferson County legal community to have this business court, expertise- and efficiency-wise," she says.

Giesel's role will involve updating the Supreme Court on the committee's progress and assisting with surveying participants in the pilot program.
