Professor Arnold re-appointed to Workshop Affiliated Faculty at Indiana University
Brandeis School of Law Professor Tony Arnold was recently re-appointed to the Workshop Affiliated Faculty of the Vincent and Elinor Ostrom Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at Indiana University, Bloomington.
The Ostrom Workshop is one of the most active and successful interdisciplinary research centers at a major public university in the world, initially created by Nobel Laureate Elinor Ostrom (a political scientist at IU who pioneered theoretical frameworks and empirical research on how people and groups manage common resources cooperatively and won the Nobel Prize in Economics) and her husband Vincent Ostrom (also a political scientist at IU who was a leading scholar internationally on the concept of polycentric governance systems).
Professor said it's a place where a lot of dynamic and influential thinking develops.
He has been a WAF for the past few years, but with a new director and strategic plan, everyone had to reapply and be reevaluated.
Professor Arnold is affiliated with interdisciplinary research centers at six major public research universities, including Indiana University-Bloomington, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, University of Florida, University of Colorado, University of Kentucky, and University of Louisville.
