Brandeis alum named president of Kentucky Opera board
Dinsmore & Shohl attorney William Blodgett Jr. has been named president of the Kentucky Opera board. Blodgett, a member of the firm's Labor & Employment, Litigation and Corporate Departments, is a 1971 graduate (cum laude) of the Brandeis School of Law.
According to Louisville Business First, Blodgett first joined the Kentucky Opera board in 2011 and has served on its finance and development committees. Prior to joining Dinsmore, he served as SVP, deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer of Brown-Forman. He currently serves as that company's representative on the Products Liability Advisory Council.
