Alum and Brandeis relative Charles Tachau passes away

The Rev. Charles Brandeis Tachau, a 1948 graduate of the Brandeis School of Law and a grandson of Louis D. Brandeis' brother, died May 16, 2016. He was 94.

Tachau practiced law for 12 years and was appointed a part-time judge of the Juvenile Court in 1958. In 1960, he resigned from the law and entered the seminary, after which he was ordained and served in the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky for the remainder of his career.
